🌿 4 Peaceful Paws — Client Coaching Agreement & Waiver

Last updated: February 2026

At 4 Peaceful Paws, emotional safety matters — for you, your dog, and the relationship you share. This Agreement explains how we work together, what you can expect, and what remains your responsibility in your home or any environment where you implement guidance.

By booking or participating in any service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms below.

1. Services and packages

1.1 Finding Freedom — 4‑week foundational programme (£465)

Includes a behaviour assessment (60–90 minutes), three live coaching sessions (45 minutes each), daily training plans, video review and feedback, ongoing email support, and SA Pro app access.

1.2 Peace by Piece — rolling monthly programme (£199/month)

Includes two live coaching sessions per month (45 minutes each), daily training plans, video review and feedback, ongoing email support, SA Pro app access, and optional coaching session upgrades.

1.3 Flying Solo — flexible support

Includes single 1:1 coaching sessions (45 minutes), separation anxiety assessments (90 minutes), or app‑only access (£15/month). Designed for flexible support without a long‑term commitment.

1.4 Third‑party app

Some services include access to the SA Pro App (Julie Naismith). 4 Peaceful Paws is not responsible for technical issues, outages, or limitations of third‑party platforms.

2. Client responsibilities

You agree to:

  • provide accurate and up‑to‑date information about your dog’s behaviour, health, and household environment

  • follow guidance safely and responsibly

  • ensure the welfare of all people and animals present during training

  • avoid using aversive tools or methods (e.g., punishment, shock, prong, spray collars)

  • maintain consistency with training plans, including taking rest days as recommended

  • communicate planned absences of more than two days so training can remain effective

  • avoid leaving your dog alone outside the agreed training plan, as unmanaged alone‑time can undo progress

You are responsible for all risks arising from implementing training guidance in your home or any other environment.

3. Technology requirements & camera access

Because separation‑anxiety training is delivered remotely, you agree to:

  • provide live camera access during assessments and training sessions so I can observe your dog’s behaviour in real time

  • use appropriate technology (e.g., laptop, phone, webcam, baby monitor, indoor camera) to allow clear observation of your dog when alone

  • ensure cameras are positioned safely and securely

  • maintain a stable internet connection for live sessions

  • provide and maintain any equipment required for remote observation

If camera access is not possible, I may be unable to complete assessments or provide accurate guidance.

4. Filming, recording & use of video

To support training and ensure accurate assessment:

  • you may be asked to record short videos of your dog during training sessions

  • by participating, you give permission for me to view, store, and analyse these videos solely for the purpose of providing training support

  • videos are stored securely and never shared publicly without your explicit written consent

  • any access details you provide (such as camera logins) will be kept confidential and never shared

  • you may not record or distribute any part of our sessions without written permission

  • I may record sessions for professional development or case review, but only with your prior consent

  • any recordings made with your consent will be used solely within separation‑anxiety practice

5. Assumption of risk

Dogs are living beings and behaviour can be unpredictable. Progress depends on your dog’s individual circumstances and your consistent implementation of guidance. You accept responsibility for safety while carrying out any training recommendations.

6. No guarantee of results

Outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Every dog learns at their own pace, influenced by health, environment, temperament, and consistency. Your participation and follow‑through are essential to progress.

7. Health and veterinary disclaimer

Training advice is not a substitute for veterinary care or professional diagnosis. 4 Peaceful Paws cannot diagnose medical or behavioural conditions — including separation anxiety — as only a qualified veterinary professional can do this.

You confirm that your dog is fit to participate in training and agree to consult a vet if there are any concerns about health, pain, or behaviour.

8. Fees and payment

  • Fees are confirmed at booking and must be paid in full before services begin.

  • 4 Peaceful Paws is not VAT registered.

  • Payments are processed securely via Stripe through Calendly.

  • 4 Peaceful Paws does not store full card details.

9. Cancellations and refunds

Flying Solo

  • 48+ hours’ notice: session may be rescheduled

  • Less than 48 hours: the session fee may apply

  • Missed sessions without notice are non‑refundable

4‑week programmes

  • Fees are non‑refundable once the programme has started

If 4 Peaceful Paws cancels

  • An alternative session or refund will be offered

  • If unexpected circumstances interrupt your programme, your support period will be extended accordingly

10. Trainer’s right to discontinue support

4 Peaceful Paws may discontinue support if:

  • safety concerns arise

  • your dog displays aggression that makes remote coaching unsafe

  • agreed training protocols are repeatedly not followed

  • unmanaged alone‑time prevents progress

If support is discontinued, no refunds are provided for sessions already delivered.

11. Limitation of liability and indemnity

4 Peaceful Paws is not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from your dog, your environment, or your implementation of guidance.

You agree to indemnify 4 Peaceful Paws against any claims, costs, expenses, or losses arising from your dog’s behaviour, your actions, or the actions of anyone present while following guidance.

This does not exclude liability where it cannot be limited under UK law.

12. Confidentiality

To provide effective support, I may require information about your home environment, including camera access during agreed sessions. I will:

  • only access cameras during scheduled or agreed times

  • never use your personal information for any purpose other than providing services

  • never share your information with third parties unless required by law

  • keep any access details (such as camera logins) strictly confidential

13. Governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Acknowledgment

By booking or participating, you confirm that:

  • you are at least 18 years old

  • you have read and understood this Agreement
